 Pre-School Sessions and Charges

Opening hours

Opening Hours are:

Monday to Thursday 9.00-3.00pm

Friday mornings only 9.00-12pm (except 30 hour funded children 9.00-3pm)

Sessions are:

Morning - 9.00am to 12.00 noon  - £15.00       
Afternoon - 12.00pm to 3.00pm - £15.00
Full Day - 9.00am to 3.00pm -      £30.00

Please note: Children attending full days or afternoon sessions will be required to bring a packed lunch or can order a cooked lunch price of £3.00 

     CHILDCARE CONTRACT - For your information as this contract will be in your welcome pack.

 Children are eligible to start at St Osmund's Pre-School after their 2nd Birthday if they are developmentally ready for the busy preschool environment earlier, you will need to pay for your child's sessions unless you are receiving the Government two year old funding. The Free Early Education Entitlement which entitles your child the term after they are 3 years of age this funding starts before each new term i.e. 1st September, 1st January and 1st April. to a maximum of 15 hours per week, for 38 weeks of the year, free of charge.

These 15 hours can be taken in any combination, subject to availability. Any additional hours will be charged at the current hourly rate Sept 2019  £4.40, this will be invoiced and payment will be required at the beginning of each term. This charge also applies to those children who do not qualify for the Free Early Education Entitlement. If your child attends another provider the 15 hours per week will be worked out in a pro-rata split. 

30 hrs will be accepted if you present us with the 11 digit code we will check our allocations register to ensure we have places available do not assume because you have the code you will have a place! 30 hours checker HMRC



Our waiting list is arranged in date of birth order and postcode.  We offer flexible session and try to accommodate the needs of individual children and families. We recommend your child attends for a minimum of 2 sessions this will help them to settle and give their key person the opportunity to gather observations.  Submission of an allocations form does not guarantee your child a place or the sessions you have requested.  When a place has been offered a retainer fee will be required to secure your child's sessions, this will be refunded once your child starts at Pre-School.
